############################################################################### Period Changes of LMC Cepheids in the OGLE and MACHO Data R. Poleski (rpoleski@astrouw.edu.pl) Acta Astronomica 2008, 58, 313-328 ############################################################################### This directory contains times of maximum light for the Large Magellanic Cloud Cepheids derived from the MACHO (1992-1999) and OGLE (1997-2008) data. ############################################################################### The structure of the catalog: README -- this file. list.dat -- list of all analyzed Cepheids; it contains in consecutive columns: OGLE III Catalog of Variable Stars ID (see [1]), mean period and its error (days), pulsation mode (F or 1O) and remarks (O - OGLE II data exist, V - MACHO V data exist, R - MACHO R data exist, A - amplitude is variable in at least on of the data sets). subdirectory data/ -- contains files OGLE-LMC-CEP-NNNN.max which contain in consecutive columns: time of maximum light, its error and data source identification (O, R and V for OGLE, MACHO R_M and MACHO V_M, respectively). OGLE-LMC-CEP-NNNN is OGLE-III Catalogue of Variable Stars ID (see [1]). OGLE-LMC-CEP_max.tar.gz -- tar and gzipped subdirectory data/ . To uncompress it type: > gunzip OGLE-LMC-CEP_max.tar.gz > tar -xvf OGLE-LMC-CEP_max.tar ------------------------------ [1] - Soszynski, I et al. 2008, "The Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment.
