The directory structure is as follows: README - this file ident.dat - identification of stars Miras.dat - parameters of Mira stars SRVs.dat - parameters of Semiregular Variables (SRVs) OSARGs.dat - parameters of OGLE Small Amplitude Red Giants (OSARGs) phot/I/ - I-band photometry of individual objects phot/V/ - V-band photometry of individual objects phot.tar.gz - gzipped phot/ directory fcharts/ - finding charts of individual objects remarks.txt - remarks on selected objects ECL/ELL means eclipsing or ellispoidal variations pap.pdf - PDF version of the paper Soszynski et al. (2013), Acta Astron. 63, 21, describing the catalog. Format of the file ident.dat: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Description -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 19 A19 --- Star's ID in the form OGLE-BLG-LPV-NNNNNN 22- 29 A8 --- OGLE-III field 31- 36 I6 --- OGLE-III database number 39- 43 A5 --- Subtype of LPVs (Mira, SRV, OSARG) 46- 47 I2 h Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (hours) 49- 50 I2 m Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (minutes) 52- 56 F5.2 s Right ascension, equinox J2000.0 (seconds) 58 A1 --- Declination, equinox J2000.0 (sign) 59- 60 I2 deg Declination, equinox J2000.0 (degrees) 62- 63 I2 arcmin Declination, equinox J2000.0 (arc minutes) 65- 68 F4.1 arcsec Declination, equinox J2000.0 (arc seconds) 70- 84 A15 --- OGLE-II ID 86- A --- Other ID (from the GCVS) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Format of the files Miras.dat, SRVs.dat and OSARGs.dat: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bytes Format Units Description -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- 19 A19 --- Star's ID in the form OGLE-BLG-LPV-NNNNNN 22- 27 F6.3 mag Intensity mean I-band magnitude 29- 34 F6.3 mag Intensity mean V-band magnitude 36- 44 F days Primary period 46- 50 F5.3 mag I-band amplitude of the primary period 52- 60 F days Secondary period (detected automatically) 62- 66 F5.3 mag I-band amplitude of the secondary period 68- 76 F days Tertiary period (detected automatically) 78- 82 F5.3 mag I-band amplitude of the tertiary period -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finding charts are gzipped Postscript images. The names of the files are in the form: ID.ps.gz. The finding charts are 60"x60" subframes of the I-band reference frames centered on the stars. White cross marks the star. North is up and East to the left. Any presentation of the scientific analysis or usage of the data from the Catalog of LPVs in the Galactic bulge should include the appropriate reference(s) to OGLE paper(s).
