This directory contains the OGLE catalog of star clusters in the LMC
fields observed during the OGLE-II microlensing project.

The directory structure is as follows:

README                  - this file

paper.ps.gz             - Postscript version of paper describing the
                          Catalog: Pietrzynski et al. Acta Astronomica
                          1999, 49, xxx, astro-ph/9912187; 
                          (version without the catalog)
 
clusters.txt            - list of clusters found in the LMC in algorythmic 
                          search (computer readable version of Table 3)

atlas/                  - directory with Atlas of clusters in the LMC

  atlas.tar             - tar archive  with postscript atlas of 
                          clusters in the LMC.

  individual/           - directory containing individual pages of
                          the Atlas:

                          cat*.ps.gz - gzipped postscript pages of
                          clusters

fcharts/                - directory containing finding charts of clusters

   fcharts.tar          - tar archive  with postscript finding charts

   individual/          - directory containing individual finding charts:
                          LMC????.ps.gz 
  

phot/                   - directory containing photometric data

   phot.tar             - tar archive  with photometric data files

   individual/          - directory containing individual photometric
                          data files: LMC????.dat. Format is given below.


The photometric data files contain the following columns:

DB_no    V    B-V    V-I   sig_B    sig_V    sig_I

where

DB_no  - number in the database for easy identification with "BVI Maps
         of the LMC"

V, B-V, V-I  - photometry data,

sig_B, sig_V, sig_I - standard deviation of measurements in the  B, V
                      and I-band

WARNING!!! 

1. "Magic" numbers: 99.999 for magnitude and 9.999 for color and
standard deviation denote "no measurement".

2. Except for fields LMC_SC1-LMC_SC8 B-band photometry is not yet available.
It will be updated and completed after the 1999/2000 LMC observing season.
